Kern is an owner and the President of AJK Global, Consulting, Inc. A man who believes in quality, reliability, competence and INTEGRITY. In his words, this is what kept him makes him diffrent from others. He graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from American University Cairo. Kern has over 35 years experience working as a drilling engineer and operations manager. Prior to forming AJK, Kern worked as a drilling engineer and drilling advisor for ENPPI Egypt. He has also worked as a Supervisor for JACOBS Engineering Group Inc. Kern’s extensive experience in managing horizontal drilling operations, pipe line fixing reconstruction and gas plant with this different international firms which also includes, WILLBROS Group, Inc, TOYO Engineering Corporation and Tetra Tech to mention but few. |
Donna Varell
Donna is an owner and the Vice President of AJK Global, Consulting Inc. She is in charge of AJK’s Rocky Mountain drilling operations. Donna has worked with Grace and Nabors was as a driller and toolpusher. She was also a consultant and rig manager for Burlington Resources. She has over 30 years of drilling experience primarily in the Williston Basin. Throughout her career, Donna has helped optimize many Williston Basin horizontal drilling projects including the initial Bakken Shale wells drilled in the late 1980’s, Red River “B” horizontal water flood project in Bowman County, ND, and the current Bakken and Three Forks Horizontal drilling programs.

Mel Christensen is the office manager for AJK Global, Consulting Inc. Mel has over twenty years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Her background includes equipment sales, drilling and production tech work, and accounting at multi-levels. Mel has been with AJK since its inception. |
